OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2010.  Preproduction of steering links for UAZ cars is conducted at JSC "Zawolzhsky Motorny Zawod" (affiliate company of JSC "SOLLERS" company).

The project is aimed at the current capacity utilization of a plant and realized in accordance with the plan for development of automobile component production at ZMZ.

According to production target the created capacities for steering link production shall lead to 12 thousand pieces of items per month.

Project investments made 8.0 million rubles. The first-off production batch of parts is sent to Uljanovsky automobile plant on September, 16th. Volumes of delivery shall make 30% of UAZ's program in September. Since October, 1st the deliveries of steering links of ZMZ production shall meet the hundred-per-cent requirements of JSC "UAZ".

Except for capacity utilization the social problem for personnel employment of a plant is being solved in the bounds of the given project. 43 new working places are created at area of steering link production.

It should be noted that make-to-order manufacturing of automobile components is typical for ZMZ but it is the task for extension of this type of activity is defined in plans of a plant.
