OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2010.  On the delegation of the business circles of Russia accompanying D. Medvedev, the President of the Russian Federation, during his official visit to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, S. Makarov, Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Stroytransgaz, took part in the bilateral negotiations of the leaders of both countries. Sergey Makarov also met a number of officials and heads of Algerian construction companies. 

Chairman of the Management Board of Stroytransgaz participated, in particular, in the negotiations of Co-Chairmen of the Intergovernmental Commission S. Shmatko, Minister of Energy of RF, with K. Djoudi, Minister of Finance of Algeria, as well as with Y. Yousfi, Minister of Energy and Mining of Algeria. During the negotiations an intensive cooperation in the area of development of the oil and gas infrastructure, cogeneration stations and other projects of Algeria fuel and energy complex was discussed.

Further cooperation became the matter of discussion of S. Makarov with N. Cherouati, CEO of SONATRACH, a long time partner of Stroytransgaz. The delegation of Stroytransgaz also met top managers of Cosider, ENAK and ETTERKIB companies. A joint participation in construction of a variety of infrastructure projects was discussed at the meetings.

Stroytransgaz started working in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in 1999. Within the time period of presence in the Algerian market of the oil and gas construction, oil and gas pipelines, with a total length of more than 800 km, as well as accompanying facilities have been constructed.
