OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2010.  Independent European organization Concordia EU-Russia (Brussels, Belgium) proposes local businessmen cooperation and support in development of organized representation of interests of the small and medium enterprises in the capital of European Union – Brussels.

Concordia means "consensus" in Latin. This key word should become the fundament for building up long term and sustainable relations between Russian and European businesses. Whatever is happening on the political agenda, business interests are rationally clear and independent. Consensus is built on trust, rejection of stereotypes as factors which could possibly influence on relations in any sense and format. Consensus is the basis for understanding of mutual profit in symbiotic moving towards fruitful partnership.

Mission of Concordia EU-Russia is adjusting sustainable, constructive, mutually profitable and free out of stereotypes practical dialogue between businesses of Russia, CIS countries and the European Union members, founding the basis of prospective consensus.

Aims of Concordia EU-Russia include:
•Fostering harmonization of legislation and economic integration of Russia and the European Union
•Providing and developing of infrastructure for effective business networking
•Developing constructive dialogue between business and political institutions on the national and supranational levels
•Fighting stereotypes, which are an obstacle for development effective partnership between Russian and European businesses
•Encouraging development of expert, analytical and intellectual area of strengthening the dialogue between Russian, CIS and the EU businesses
•Institutionalization of platform for professional discussion and networking among business, experts and public officials
