Turkmen Exchange Concluded 57 Transactions
OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2010. 57 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Businessmen from Russia, Iran and Tajikistan concluded the transactions in the foreign currency for gasoline and polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries. Liquefied gas from the Nayip terminal was the choice of buyers from Afghanistan.
The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for ginned cotton, cotton lint, greige yarn and gray cloth. The buyer countries: the United States, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Turkey, Singapore, Lithuania, the Virgin Islands, Kyrgyzstan and Gibraltar. The total amount of the transactions exceeded US\\$ 6.284 million.
Businessmen from the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan bought cotton yarn, businessmen from the Czech Republic bought cottonseed cake, Georgian businessmen bought licorice extract for deposit manats-. Businessmen from the United States concluded the transactions for knitted waste, cotton yarn and gray cloth, Kyrgyzstan – for washed karakul wool and dyed terry products. The total amount of the transactions amounted to over 17.349 million manat.
