OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2010. Belarus’ beer output increased 14.5% on the year in January-August 2010 to 27.001 million decaliters, a representative in the concern Belgospischeprom told.

In August, beer production rose 46% on the year to 4.707 million decaliters.

JSC  Krinitsa, based in Minsk, produced 10.17 million decaliters of beer, flat on the year.

JSC  Olivaria, based in the city of Minsk, produced 4.821 million decaliters of beer in January-August, an increase of 9% on the year.

Syabar brewery, based in Bobruisk, in the Mogilev Region, produced 5.248 million decaliters of beer in the period, up 88.6% on the year.

JSC  Lidskoe Pivo (Lida Beer), in the Grodno Region, increased beer output 13.3% to 3.81 million decaliters.

JSC  Brest Beer produced 2.159 million decaliters of beer, up 17.1%.

CJSC  Rechitsapivo, located in the Gomel Region, produced 603,000 decaliters of beer in the period, down 17.5%.

Beer output in plastic bottles went up 13.3% to 20.362 million decaliters, in glass bottles rose 14.5% to 4.541 million decaliters, in kegs increased 42.6% to 1.859 million decaliters and in cans fell 28.9% to 238,000 decaliters.

Belarusian beer supplies to domestic wholesalers and retailers increased 8.7% on the year in January-August to 23.579 million decaliters.

Krinitsa sales went down 11.8% to 7.824 million decaliters, Olivaria sales went up 11.6% to 4.868 million decaliters, Lidskoe pivo sales increased 10.6% to 3.455 million decaliters, and sales of Brest Beer fell 3.2% to 1.667 million decaliters, of Syabar increased 83.7% to 5.048 million decaliters and of Rechitsapivo dropped 14.8% to 546,000 decaliters.
