OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2010. Overdue debt of Belarusian enterprises to foreign companies decreased 29.8% in January-July to USD 307.9 million, the National Statistics Committee told.
Belarus’ overdue debt to Russian companies fell 28.8% in January-July to make USD 76.1 million, whereas debts to non-Russian enterprises within the CIS were down 12.6% to USD 20.9 million.
Belarus’ overdue debt to non-CIS companies was down 31.4% to USD 210.9 million.
Foreign companies’ overdue debt to Belarusian enterprises went down 4.6% in January-July to USD 284.5 million.
Russian companies’ overdue debt to Belarus edged down 1.1% to USD 158.3 million.
Non-CIS companies’ overdue debt to Belarus was at USD 83.1 million as of August 1, 2010, up 10.9% as compared to January 1, 2010.
Belarus’ overdue corporate external debt was 8.2% above foreign companies’ liabilities to this country as of August 1.
