Ukraine and EU to Establish Free Trade Area on November 22
OREANDA-NEWS. October 08, 2010. Agreement establishing a free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union would be ready to be signed till November 22 this year for Ukraine-EU summit. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said at the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Finland Aleksander Stubb.
"I believe that till EU-Ukraine summit, we will prepare an agreement establishing a free trade area - Ukrainian Premier said. "However, the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU as a political document, can be adopted quickly enough" - Mykola Azarov said.
Besides that the Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed that Ukraine and Finland have significant potential in bilateral relations, namely in the increasing of export of Ukrainian goods to Finland and to the delivery of Ukrainian "AN" family aircraft. According to him, the Finnish capital will be interesting to invest in the Ukrainian agribusiness.
