OREANDA-NEWS. October 08, 2010. OJSC ROSNO-MS has opened a representative office of medical insurance organizations (MIO) in the Municipal Outpatient Clinic No. 1 in Norilsk, to represent interests of MIOs providing obligatory medical insurance services in Krasnoyarsk Krai, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The decision to open the representative office of the Norilsk-based medical insurance organizations was made upon the results of cooperation between the medical insurance community and the Krasnoyarsk Krai obligatory medical insurance fund.

Employees of the representative office will be advising the general public on how to obtain free medical assistance under the OMI system, participating in discovering violations (or the facts facilitating such violations) of the patients’ rights, non-delivery of the volumes of medical assistance contemplated by the State Guarantee Program, and in taking measures to eliminate and prevent the same. The OMI system guarantees advice and prompt resolution of administrative issue in providing medical services to all applicants, regardless of the company they have been insured with.

Protection of the patients’ constitutional rights to medical assistance in the scope and at the terms stipulated by the Program for Provision of State-Guaranteed Free Medical Assistance to the General Public is one of the top priorities for ROSNO-MS.
