OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2010. Bohdan, the major car maker in Ukraine, intends to start manufacturing А049 model microbuses by 2011, the company representative announced on Oct 6. The model has already met all the established requirements, has passed the necessary tests successfully, and has been duly certified. The new bus is the first microbus model in the corporation's model line. According to the company’s forecast, this bus equipped with Euro-3 engine will cost approximate UAH 155,000 on the domestic market.

Millennium Capital considers the news as positive for LUAZ. Currently, the corporation is producing buses of all classes, except for microbuses. Besides, the А049 model is a commercial low-cost product. It allows the company to increase its share of the domestic automobile market. The bus will potentially be in great demand by the summer of 2012 in connection with EURO-2012 Football Championships finals.
