OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2010.  Our delegation represented by Marat Afanasyev – TANECO Liaison Director and Zilya Valisheva – Head of Environmental Protection Dept. attended the ceremony in honor of winners of republican contests “Ecological Leader”.

OJSC TANECO was awarded the first place in the nomination of “Implementation of waste recourses collection and utilization technologies and energy-saving and ecologically effective technologies" among the Russian companies.

OJSC Tatneft - the Investor of Refining and Petrochemical Complex was recognized as seven-time winner of the contest. It was awarded the first place in even two following nominations "Effective Ecological Program" and "Effective Ecological management ".

According to Z.R. Valisheva, the victory of OJSC TANECO is the appropriate recognition of the serious environmental activity of the company held from the earliest days of the Project implementation. In December 2009 the company was honored with another prestigious award – Diploma of Laureate of the Sixth Russian Contest “National Ecological Premium” in the nomination of “City Ecology”. The visit of A. Sadretdinov - RT Minister of Environmental and Natural resources to Nizhnekamsk on 20 of July, 2010 gave the impulse for the participation in the contest “Ecological Leader”. Following the results of the visit Aglyam Sadretdinov said that RT Ministry for Environmental will advise other companies within Tatarstan to use the technologies implemented on Refining and Petrochemical Complex.

Nizhnekamsk Oil refiners came home with the Diploma and Medal of the Winner.
