Ukraine Will Create Incentives for Livestock Development
OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2010. The Government will create incentives for livestock development and improvement of living and working conditions in rural areas. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that at the Government session.
"Right now we have to create incentives for livestock development and increased production of meat, milk and other products" - Mykola Azarov emphasized.
The Prime Minister said today that every farmer wants to have a guarantee that its agricultural products such as meat would be bought at a price that covers the costs, primarily feed costs, and creates the necessary income to invest to further increase production. "Already now we must create a system that will ensure compliance with these conditions" – the Prime Minister stressed.
Mykola Azarov noted, that living and working conditions in rural areas should also be improved and for this State must allocate adequate funds.
However, the Prime Minister said that at today's session the Government would review the development programme for agricultural production in 2011.
