OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2010. The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) have signed a cooperation agreement whose long-term goal is the development of a regional IIA centre in St Petersburg, reported the press-centre of PwC.

A centre based at PwC will bring together internal auditors and internal control and risk management specialists employed by companies within the North-Western Federal District like never before.

The main goal of this cooperation is to develop and popularise the internal audit profession, support internal auditors and assist in their professional development in the region.

Franz Bdoyan, Head of PwC's systems and processes assurance group in Saint-Petersburg, will coordinate the centre’s operations. The centre already has more than 50 members.
