OREANDA-NEWS. October 05, 2010. TNK-BP announced that it has begun selling its new 95-octane TNK Pulsar fuel at its TNK service stations in the Ryazan Region. Developed by TNK-BP experts using innovative technologies, TNK Pulsar 95 gives good environmental performance and meets the Euro-4 standard, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

“These fuel properties are achieved by using unique additives that are the intellectual property of TNK-BP. TNK Pulsar is currently being produced by the Ryazan Oil Refining Company, a member of the TNK-BP Group. Longer term, there are plans to launch production of the fuel at the company’s other refineries”, said Andrei Skorobogatykh, Director of TNK-BP’s Marketing and Brand Department.

TNK Pulsar gasoline has been tested in independent facilities in Germany and Russia in Mercedes, Hyundai and VAZ-11113 engines. Tests performed in both injection and carburetor engines showed that TNK Pulsar has better cleansing properties than conventional fuel.
