OREANDA-NEWS. October 05, 2010. During the 2010-2011 autumn-winter season Ukraine International Airlines will start operating new charter flights from Lugansk to the popular resorts of Egypt. The charter program will be operated in cooperation with one of the leaders of the Ukrainian tourism industry – Pegasus Touristic, reported the press-centre of UIA.

Commencing 9th October 2010 until the end of 2010-2011 winter schedule, the flights connecting Lugansk and Hurghada will be operated on Saturdays.

Commencing 22nd October 2010, the UIA flights connecting Lugansk and Taba will be operated on Fridays.

"This year UIA has developed a special program to promote tourism from the eastern regions of Ukraine, – noted Sergei Fomenko UIA Vice-President Sales and Marketing. – In particular, we have launched new direct scheduled flights from Donetsk to Croatia, Kiev and Lvov. The preferences of beach holiday fans were also recognized in the UIA winter schedule. Together with our partner – Pegasus Touristic – we offer tourists from Eastern Ukraine the opportunity to take advantage of UIA charter flights from Lugansk to Hurghada and Taba and spend their holidays in the famous resorts of Egypt.
