OREANDA-NEWS. October 04, 2010. ANTONOV Company welcomes participants and guests of the 7th International aviation and space salon Aviasvit-XXI at its flight test base in Gostomel town and Kyiv-Antonov airport held within a period from September 30 to October 4, 2010.

Taking part in organization of this exhibition, ANTONOV represents to your attention the modern ANTONOV aircraft, most of which has no equal in the world.

Visitors of the exhibition were familiar with innovative aviation science intensive technologies. Development of such technologies has to become a basis for keeping and augmenting of intellectual potential of the nation, including technical education of creative young people.

During two years after the previous Aviasvit exhibition, aviation programs in Ukraine were considerably developed. One of them is launch of operation of the AN-148 regional jet of a new generation. About 165000 passengers have already traveled on these comfortable airplanes. ANTONOV Company has created a new AN-158 regional jet. At present, it is under certification tests. These aircraft are produced at ANTONOV Serial Plant in Ukraine and at Voronezh Aircraft Building JSC in Russia. New versions of the well-known AN-124-100 Ruslan heavy transports have been designed as well. ANTONOV works also on development of other new airplanes and modernization of the existing ones.

The world-known ANTONOV aircraft, including AN-2, AN-124-100 Ruslan, AN-225 Mriya, AN-74 and new AN-148 and AN-18 will take part in the program of demo flights.

At Aviasvit-XXI we plan to conduct series of negotiations aiming to find new partners, sign contracts and come to the agreements. Future of Ukrainian aviation is connected with widening the cooperation between the enterprises of Ukraine and with foreign partners.
