OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2010. The number of small businesses in Belarus increased 10.8% on the year in January-July 2010 to 83,200, an official in the Economy Ministry told.

Since January 1, 2010, the number has risen 5.8%.

The number of individual entrepreneurs as of August totaled 230,300 people, an increase of 6.1% from August 1, 2009 and 4.9% from January 1, 2010.

The share of budget payments from small businesses amounted to 20.5% in the first half of 2010, including 17.8% from legal entities and 2.7% from entrepreneurs.
