OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2010. According to the announcement of the press service of the company, particularly, the tariff for legal entities reduced by 40%, and for physical - by 25%. Thus, starting from October the company Moldtelecom will apply a single tariff totaling to 1,8 lei per 1 minute, with VAT, for all users categories.

Besides, JSC Moldtelecom will apply a special tariff for calls from the fixed networks to the mobile networks in the evening, at week-ends and holidays, amounting to 1,44 lei per 1 minute, including VAT, for the first time. Hitherto, the tariff to the amount of 3 lei (including VAT) was applied to the calls of legal entities from the fixed networks to the mobile ones, and 2,5 lei (with VAT) – to the physical persons’ calls.

Earlier, JSC Moldtelecom proposed to reduce the price for interconnection by the GSM operators to implement more attractive system of tariffs. Pursuant to the project, Moldtelecom proposed to reduce the prices for telephone calls from other operators to its fixed network from 3,19 to 1,8 c/min. Moldtelecom submitted to the ANRCETI a letter with economic estimation of possibility to reduce from October 1, 2010 the cost of calls termination in the mobile network from 7 to 4 c/min (reducing it by 43%).

These 4 cents are to be applied both for calls from Moldtelecom fixed network to Orange, Moldcell and Unite mobile networks (CDMA and 3G), and for calls among the mobile communication network. Moldtelecom expresses confidence that all mobile operators will support the initiatives as they meet the interests of the final user and favor the development of competition on the market.
