OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2010. TNK-BP states its disagreement with the decision of the Tender Commission which did not allow TNK-BP subsidiary Samotlorneftegas to participate in bidding for the right to develop the Trebs and Titov oilfields, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The documentation submitted by the company is fully compliant with the requirements of the bidding procedure and relevant legislation.

TNK-BP maintains that the reasons for disqualifying the bid cited by the Commission are of formal nature and as such cannot be viewed as sufficient grounds for dismissal of the Samotlorneftegas application.

TNK-BP intends to challenge the Commission’s decision in line with relevant due process.
