OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2010. Currently the facilities of JSC Irkutskenergo are at the final stage of preparation to the heating season. All heating systems are ready and inspected, pipeline flushing has been performed. The equipment at CHPPs is also ready to work at full capacity.

Over RUB 5 bln were invested into the JSC Irkutskenergo heat source maintenance program and, by the early September, RUB 3.5 mln had already been allocated. Maintenance of 3 hydraulic units, 15 turbine units and 38 boiler units has already been completed. All the scheduled works are performed in accordance with the timeline. Maintenance of some boiler and turbine units it to continue until December. Reconstruction of the turbine unit 6 at CHPP-9 aimed at increasing its capacity is to be finished by October 30. Maintenance works at turbine unit 6 of CHPP-11 are to be finished by the early November. Next-year maintenance program will start in February.
