OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2010. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has visited Uralmash and discussed with its Director General Oleg Danchenko prospective of cooperation with Tatar oil producing companies.

The meeting was held within the frames of Rustam Minnikhanov visit to Sverdlovsk Region on September 25th. Uralmash presented to the President of Tatarstan the site of the control assembly of drilling rigs where equipment undergoes the final checks before shipment to customers. At the day of the visit, one rig for Gazprom Neft and two rigs for Eriell Group were undergoing the control assembly.

Rustam Minnikhanov has discussed with Oleg Danchenko feasibility of Uralmash drilling equipment supplies for Tatarstan oil producing companies.

“The visit of Tatarstan President to Uralmsh has is very significant for us, - highlighted Oleg Danchenko. – We have achieved a principal agreement on cooperation, and now our designers and engineers will go to Tatarstan to research specific features of the local oil fields and prepare a correspondent technical offer on drilling rigs for oil producing companies”.

“OMZ holding (United Machine-Building Plants) that includes Uralmash already has successful experience of cooperation with Tatarstan industrial companies, - told OMZ Director General Igor Sorochan. – In July this year, Izhorskiye Zavody have completed a big contract for delivery of two hydro-cracking reactors for the largest petrochemical plant TANEKO. It has become possible due to implementation of a wide-scale program of heavy machinery plants’ modernization that is financed by Gazprombank”.
