OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2010. It is during August alone that the plant has shipped 173 thousand tons of cement which is above the target and 118% of the previous August performance.

With a higher demand for bagged cement shipment volumes have grown for bagged cement. So, a total of 179 thousand tons of bagged cement has been shipped over 8 months which is 10% up on the same period in 2009.

In addition road shipments have significantly jumped this year (by 63%). Today it accounts for 30% of the entire plant’s shipments which is to no small measure attributed to the advantage gained from the centralized Mercedes Benz truck customer delivery service. Ten vehicles can deliver cement around the Ulyanovsk Region and neighboring areas on a daily basis at minimum cost.

It should be noted that regional cement consumers include the companies involved in the largest projects in the Volga Federal District, specifically the 2013 Students Games in Kazan, the Metallurgical Plant in Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod Region and TANEKO Oil Treatment Plant in Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan.

It all provides compelling evidence that cement shipment volumes will continue to grow in the future.
