OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2010. Steel pipes exports jumped up 33.7% mom in Aug, primarily due to the threefold increase in large diameter pipes’ exports from 11.7MT in Jul to 38.7MT in Aug.

In addition to the trend-making 440% increase of large diameter pipes’ exports to Russia following the HRTR contract with Transneftegaz of Russia, note should be taken of a 5.8% increase in seamless pipes exports and a 6.8% growth in exports of other pipes. The trend is positive for Interpipe and smaller Ukrainian pipe producers.
