OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2010. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the decision on the privatization of OJSC Ukrtelecom. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this today at a briefing.

"The decision on the privatization is adopted. I have already signed the corresponding resolution", said Mykola Azarov. The Prime Minister has added that the Government hopes to privatize "Ukrtelecom" by the end of 2010. According to him, the stake, that was planned to be put up for the privatization, remained unchanged.

The Head of the Government has stressed that the Cabinet also continues to investigate the situation with the privatization of "Luganskteplovoz. "We have finally to draw a line under this issue - the company should earn, and the investor should receive guarantees from the State to exercise his rights. And most importantly - the company should produce goods in the next year", he said.
