OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2010. Adoption of the Bill on State Budget for 2011 is entering into the final stage in Azerbaijan.

Samir Sharifov, the finance minister, has stated that adoption of deficit-free budget is a rhetorical matter.

"Adoption of deficit-free budget should be based on some understanding of the situation, but as an end in itself, I did not consider it a reasonable goal in itself," Sharifov said.

The budget for 2011 was also offered with deficit.
