OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2010. The state officially supports the organization of Caspian Agro Exhibition on agricultural sector that possesses the biggest potential after the oil sector. In this sense, the patronage and the sponsorship of the Ministry of Agriculture are strongly felt towards an exhibition which will enable to explore "new frontiers" of the agricultural world: from the production to the processing, from the packaging to the preservation. On 6-9 October, 2009 in Baku there has been held the II International exhibition "Caspian Agro".

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan HE Ilham Aliyev, Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania and First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Belarus took part in the ceremony of opening of the exhibition. 70 local and 120 foreign companies from Turkey, Italy, USA, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Syria, Israel and Germany demonstrated their achievements on the exhibition area of 1500 sq. meters. Over 15000 people visited the exhibition. All this allowed to confirm the holding of the third International Exhibition "Caspian Agro" on 29 September - 1 October 2010.
