OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2010. The first meeting of the Public Chamber of the second calling is to be held at the beginning of November.

Director of IDGC of North-West's branch "Komienergo" Ivan Medvedev has been included into the membership of the Public Chamber of the region. The deputies of the State Council of Komi have approved new members of the chamber at the meeting.

Komienergo's director received the proposal to become a member of the Public Chamber from the Komi parliament in August. According to the Rules set forth by the legislative authority, the State Council of Komi has an independent right to offer to the citizens, who deserve well of the republic, to become a member of the Public Chamber.

The new public men received 25 "for" votes out of 26 deputies' votes at the meeting of the State Council of Komi, one "abstained". The first meeting of the Public Chamber of the second calling should take place at the beginning of November.
