OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2010. Recent years, administrative services provision by public authorities has become corruption offspring. Only a clear regulation of services, beginning with their exact definition, can make transparent this large market. This was aired by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Tihipko during the Governmental Committee on economic policy meeting, during which, in particular, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has been approved the draft resolution "Some aspects of administrative services provision".

"All revenues from administrative services should be directed immediately to the budget. Thus the cost of these services must be clearly justified" - Sergei Tigipko said. The official pointed the large number of paid administrative services that are often carried out by companies close to some ministries and departments.

"This is the field where billions of UAH are in turnover. Officials of various ranks artificially impose on businesses those or other services and using the imperfect control, put money in their pocket. Putting in order the procedure of administrative services, reducing their number and making them transparent, we will hit the corruption and significantly reduce the administrative burden on business" – the Vice Prime Minister said.
