OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2010. Administration for preparation and treatment of process fluid for pressure maintenance (UPTZH dlya PPD), structural division of TATNEFT, has adopted a new production program for 2010-2013. In the framework of this program UPTZH Administration carries out the work to modernize the Kama water treatment facilities, improve the water treatment quality, increase production volumes, and improve reliability of water supply to the oil production facilities, as well as to the towns and industrial enterprises in the south-eastern region of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The list of priority tasks includes major repair of water mains within the city of Almetyevsk limits, reconstruction of Bigashevo water treatment facilities, construction of two water lines with internal cement/sand lining for transportation of purified water, and reconstruction of potable water treatment facilities at the Kama River.

Implementation of production program has allowed improving the quality of water and bringing it to the sanitary standards in all respects. The company has also worked out measures to curb the growth of tariffs for water.
