ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. Launches New Project
OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2010. ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. has launched the project promoted by Rosatom State Corporation to automate geological modeling, mine design and mine operations planning.
The goal is to optimize and fully automate the entire geological and mine modeling process of deposits and mines, as well as mine operations planning. This will facilitate the choice of the most economically viable deposit development options.
The new system is expected to be implemented by the Russian enterprises of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. by 2015.
JSC Atomredmetzoloto has been consistently developing the databases and performing geological modeling of uranium deposits since 2007. In 2010 it completed a reserves estimation under the JORC Code of Elkon Uranium Ore Province (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)) and Olovskoye deposit (Trans-Baikal Region).
JSC Dalur (Kurgan Region) is deploying a software complex for hydrodynamic modeling of in-situ leaching processes.
