OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2010. Swift growth of internal traffic (in correlation with external - from 10/90 (due to data of 2008) to 70/30 (due to data 2010) promoted hosting services launching by Kazakhtelecom JSC on territory of Kazakhstan on base of Parallels Automation, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.

Integration of Parallels Automation took three months, after Kazakhtelecom JSC appeared on the market with VPS services (virtual dedicated server) and web-hosting. 7 thousand clients became Kazakhtelecom JSC data centers clients for six months that corresponds to 15%  share of hosting market in Republic of Kazakhstan.

Joint project of Kazakhtelecom JSC and Parallels started in 2008. Reducing of costs for payments with backbone providers of other countries, which have been caused by bias of foreign internet traffic over local is the main goal. Such costs increased proportionally to the growth of subscribers’ base of broadband Internet access, which by reason of few sites in domain zone.kz had to use Russian content. “Run” of Internet traffic promoted deficiency of professional hosting services proposal on local Kazakhstan market, thus small and medium enterprises of Kazakhstan had to buy professional hosting in Russia.
