Turkmen Exchange Concluded 53 Transactions
OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2010. 53 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Businessmen from the United Kingdom, Russia, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Iraq and Tajikistan bought polypropylene, liquefied gas, fuel oil, diesel fuel, gasoline, light gas oil, hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries for the foreign currency. Buyers from Denmark concluded the contracts for diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery and the buyers from Russia – for polypropylene sacks. The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for ginned cotton, cottonseed meal, dyed terry products, cotton yarn, confectionery, licorice root extract, gray cloth, knitted goods. The buyer-countries: the United States, UK, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and the Virgin Islands. The total amount of the contracts exceeded USD 130.304.
Businessmen from China bought cattle skin, semi-prepared wet blue; the United Arab Emirates - cottonseed meal, confectionery; Switzerland – unbleached cloth; Ukraine - cottonseed cake; India and the Virgin Islands - raw silk; Russia - refined cottonseed oil; Kyrgyzstan - cotton yarn, gray cloth, dyed terry products for deposit manats. The total amount of the transactions exceeded 4.17 million manats.
