OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2010. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov insists that every city in Ukraine for 2-3 years draws up a general plan of development. The Head of the Government stressed this in an interview to journalists during his working visit to Odessa region.

"One of the main reasons hindering the development of cities from large to small ones is lack of efficient plans. In order to not patch holes and confidently carry out large-scale programs, we need to know where will be developed residential areas, production sites, how to build and modernize the urban infrastructure", emphasized Mykola Azarov.

The Prime Minister believes that the second reason, which hinders development, is too complicated and long procedure of permission for construction: "The Government set a target to reduce by 90% permission procedures in construction, leave only what is necessary to guarantee quality and safety of projects under construction".
