OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2010. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov entrusted the State Customs Service of Ukraine to establish a normative term of customs inspection of containers at ports, which should not exceed two hours. The Head of the Government said this in an interview during a working trip to Odessa.

"I asked the experts what time to be reasonable and optimally sufficient. They said: "two hours". Then I instructed it to become a normative time", said Mykola Azarov.

According to him, henceforth customs inspection of any container at a port should not be longer than two hours.

"A month later we will examine how this standard is performed. If the task is fulfilling, we thank the head of the customs and set new higher tasks. If it is not fulfilling, we will appoint another head", stressed Prime Minister of Ukraine.
