OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2010. The German state bank of development of "KfW", which is a shareholder of MEGABANK,PJSC, led rating of the most reliable banks of the world in a present year, reported the press-centre of MEGABANK. 

Annual rating of the 50 most reliable banks already for 19 years is being made by the American magazine of "Global Finance". On the second position is the French bank "CDC", on the third is the Dutch bank "BNG". In the first ten are 4 German and 3 Dutch banks.

Reference. "KfW" for the second year is the winner of this rating. The same recognition the German bank received in 2009.

On August 20, 2009 the European bank of reconstruction and development and "KfW" granted to MEGABANK,PJSC the packages of financing on a lump sum 28,9 millions euro. The program of financing foresees joint acquisition of EBRD and "KfW" of 30% shares of MEGABANK,PJSC (15% each), and also long-term credit from EBRD, equivalent 10,4 million, (for a term of 5 years) and subordinated credit from "KfW", equivalent 2,5 million euro (for a term of 7 years). Purpose of the program declared by the investors is to strengthen the capital of MEGABANK,PJSC, and also to give to it the long-term financing for crediting of local borrowers.
