OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2010. In the head office of “FGC UES”, a coordination partnership agreement was signed between PJSC “Stroytransgaz”, LLC “GC EFESk” and OJSC “Yuzhniy Enginerniy Tsentr Energetiki”.

Oleg Budargin, Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC “FGC UES”, Sergey Makarov, Chairman of Stroytransgaz Management Board, Evgeny Bobylev, General Director of EFESk, Sergey Inkov, General Director of Yuzhny Enginerny Tsentr Energuetiky took part in the event. Gagik Zakharian, General Director of ZAO “EnergoProekt” attended the event.

The Agreement will optimize the resources of the companies for projects in power, industrial and civil construction, as well as projects of FGC UES investment program. Inter alia, projects for construction of the high-tension power transmission lines, distribution stations, electrical grid facilities for power stations and other power generation projects are supposed to be implemented. Work will be contracted on general or EPC basis.

Sergey Makarov noted that the Agreement allows the contractors to implement the investment program of FGC in a reliable way and with high quality. He also said that the Agreement was aimed at a long term cooperation.

“Federal Grid Company is an important customer for us and that is why we selected the partners for the Agreement thoroughly and for a long time. Meanwhile a possibility is left open that the number of its participants will increase,” – said the Chairman. – “To implement efficiently this vital and major work, one has to unite investment, production and scientific resources of companies of different specialty. The obtained system of competences and possibilities allows us to fulfill most effectively the task of national importance that is synchronization of the power generating facilities and the power delivery grids. In the same time we mitigate risks the owner faces when involving subcontractors and we increase reliability of the work fulfillment”.

Evgeny Bobylev, General Director of GC EFESk, added that “establishment of such a powerful and modern pool of the power construction and engineering companies allows one to provide to the owner the most transparent system of contractors cooperation within each implementing project. What is more, the said companies possess a modern productive, technical and intellectual basis and strive jointly for an effective renovation and innovative development of the united power grid of Russia, which contributes to the effective performance of the work”.
