OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2010. Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC JSC) considers necessary to comment on claims appeared in a number of mass media relating to fire in the forest reserve “Ertis ormany” in Pavlodar Oblast.

There is no information on initiation of criminal case against the company’s personnel relating to this fact from law-enforcement authorities sent to KEGOC.

Visual inspection of the area where 500 kV OHTL L5527 EEK-Rubtsovsk passes and timely information of the Dispatch Centre evidence that the short circuit is not the cause of fire.

Independent commission will make final conclusions on causes of fire. In its turn, KEGOC is ready to provide all necessary information.
