OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2010. The first review competition of protection equipment, tools and devices organized by IDGC of Holding, OJSC is held from 15 September through 17 September in Voronezh. Its participants among others are employees of IDGC of North-West, including the specialists from all of the company's branches.

The review competition is held on the educational training site of IDGC of Centre's branch "Voronezhenergo". Russia's and foreign leading manufacturers take part in the review. They include LLC IE "Promtekhresursy", CJSC "Tekhnoshans" (Belarus), LLC "Eletropribor" (Armenia), TG "Ekipazh"  (Ukraine), TC "Dielektrik", Sperian Protection (domestic representative office of French company).

The technical heads and managers of labour safety divisions of the Interregional Distribution Grid Companies of Russia and their branches will act as experts at the review competition. The commission members will estimate performance parameters of protection equipment and their conformity to normative requirements, as well as develop recommendations for manufacturing entities as to improvement of protection equipment and establishment of technical requirements to be applied by them in the future.

Creation of safe work conditions is the major line of the technical and social policy of all interregional distribution grid companies of the Holding. High technologies, equipment and personal protection devices of high quality allow for traumas risk mitigation and for provision of safety of work at power facilities.
