OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2010. At a meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers is to take some decisions on regulation of land relations. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this opening the Government’s sitting.

According to him, in particular, the Cabinet of Ministers is to take decisions that will eliminate abuses in land relations, admitted in the previous years, officials also are to consider the introduction of transparent mechanisms to ensure compliance and implementation of public ownership of land.

In addition, the Cabinet will adopt a decision on the prevention and elimination of violations of the environmental, land and water legislation. According to Mykola Azarov, causes of such violations are as unlawful decisions of local authorities, executive bodies as well as imperfect legislation: "These problems and their solutions will be considered when discussing the results of inspections of control bodies in the Kyiv region", said the Prime Minister.
