OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2010. For the last ten years the volume of internal sources directed to commercial banks of Uzbekistan for the development of real sector of economy grew more than 34 times.

As a result, the structure of credit portfolio of commercial banks changed gradually.

Thus, in 2000 54% of banks' credit portfolio were formed by external borrowings while as of 1 July 2010 internal sources comprised 84.9% in credit portfolio of banks.
