On September 8, during the 6th Baikal economic forum in Irkutsk, JSC Irkutskenergo and JSC Mobile TeleSystems, the leading telecommunications provider in Russia and CIS, signed the cooperation agreement and agreed to implement additional MTS communication facilities construction investment project by the end of 2011. By 2012, the companies plan to provide the mobile connection and implement 3G networks integrated solutions to supply JSC Irkutskenergo enterprises with the high speed mobile internet access including its usage with M2M (machine-to-machine) technologies.
