OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2010. The  presentation of new reserve mobile network of the Bakcell company was held in Baku.

According to Chief Technology Officer  Cristian Vasilcan, as the  result of joint work, carried out by the  Bakcell with companies Nokia, Cisco and Huawei, growth of radio network of the company four times was reached.

“Presently, possibilities of exchange of  SMS have grown nine  times and today 4 million SMSs are transferred  daily. Services of data-card are rendered with at a speed of 200 KB/s,” C. Vasilcan said.

According to him, continuously working Central Knot IP - transmission was created, as well as  central base stations function  in Baku, Guba, Shirvan, Lankaran, Sheki, Ganja, Haldan, Kurdamir and Nakhchivan.
