"Pursuant to Section 5, Article 24 of the federal law On the Federal Budget for 2010 and the Planning Period of 2011-2012, budget allocations to the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation, as stipulated by the federal budget for 2010, shall be increased by 1 billion roubles to ensure that there is adequate funding to meet the national objective of providing high-tech medical treatment to the citizens of the Russian Federation."

These additional funds will make it possible to provide over 7,500 additional patients with high-tech medical care.
