OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2010. In 2011 the RF Government will spend 1.5 bln rubles to sponsor the technology park of Sarov city of Nizhny Novgorod region.

Vladimir Putin, Chairman of the RF Government, leader of the “United Russia” party announced addressing the interregional party conference of “United Russia” called “Strategy for Social and Economic Development of the Volga region up to 2020. Program for 2010–2012”. The conference is held on September 14 at the Nizhny Novgorod Trade Fair.

“The technology park in Sarov is a good example of technology parks development. In the next year we’ll devote 6 bln rubles to sponsoring technology parks all over Russia and additionally 1.5 bln rubles for Sarov technology park via Rosatom State Corporation,” Vladimir Putting reported.

Formerly Vladimir Putin expressed satisfaction with the results of implementation of the young specialists support program in Sarov city of Nizhny Novgorod region. „As early as in 2004 a private business incubator was opened and now is successfully working in Sarov. In Sarov they work at super computers, reactors for NPPs of the last generation, space technologies and lasers. Salary and solution of housing problems attract young specialists to this city. Graduates from the Moscow State University, the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and other universities come here. The share of specialists aged below 35 in Sarov is more than 40%. The average salary is 29.5 thousand rubles,“ Vladimir Putin noted.

As previously reported, the second stage of the “Strategy for Social and Economic Development of the Volga region up to 2020. Program for 2010–2012” interregional party conference of “United Russia” is held in Nizhny Novgorod on September 14. In the course of the conference Chairman of the party Vladimir Putin will study the most attractive projects of the Volga Federal District regions – the winners of the first stage of the conference held on September 9 in Ulyanovsk. These projects are to be the basis for implementation of the Volga Federal District development plan up to 2012.

Chairman of the State Duma, Chairman of high council of “United Russia” Boris Gryzlov, Secretary of the United Russia General Council Presidium Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of “United Russia” Central Executive Committee Andrey Vorobyev, members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma and others also take part in the conference. Besides, heads of the regions included into the Volga Federal District have come to Nizhny Novgorod.

The day before at the Nizhny Novgorod Trade Fair there was the party’s “Mediaforum“ with the participation of politicians, political analysts and journalists of the district. Let’s remind that on September a visit of Chairman of the “United Russia” party, Chairman of the RF Government Vladimir Putin to Nizhny Novgorod region started. In particular, the Prime Minister inspected petrochemical enterprises of Kstovo district: Siberian – Urals Petrochemicals Company OJSC and Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez LLC after which held in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin a governmental meeting on development of the petrochemical complex.

Vice Prime Minister Sergey Sobyanin, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergey Shmatko, Minister of Natural Resources Yury Trutnev, heads of federal departments and major companies of the branch took part in the meeting.
