OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2010. In the first six months of 2010, the volume of personal insurance premium collected by ROSNO’s Samara branch grew by 17% as compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 122.7 mln. roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The largest share of personal insurance premium (95%) pertains to voluntary medical insurance contributions, which increased by 19%. Such growth has ultimately enabled ROSNO to move from the third to the second position in the ranking of Samara insurers for the first half of the year.

In total, the volume of premium collected by ROSNO’s Samara branch in the first half of the year reached 150.9 mln. roubles (+12%). Along with personal insurance, the best growth dynamics has been demonstrated by such sectors as crop insurance (up 4.5 times), liability insurance (23.1%), and personal property insurance (+16%).

"ROSNO’s collected premium growth is notably better than the average trends in the Samara personal insurance market, which is yet stagnating, with just over 1% growth in aggregate premium collected in the first six months. The growth in personal insurance premium collected is, on the one hand, the result of active work of the company’s personnel, and, on the other hand, it is quite natural that a high-quality product strengthens its market position", comments Evgeny Vlasov, head of ROSNO’s Samara branch.
