OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2010. Permanent agricultural fairs along with interventions from the State Reserve, if necessary, will help to stop boom, which is observed on some food and allow citizens to buy products directly from manufacturers at prices much lower than in commercial networks.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov underlined this at visiting the agricultural fair in the Pechersk district of Kyiv.

"We need people to settle down. The example of this fair shows that there are no queues. You can buy potatoes for 3,50 UAH, buckwheat for 8 UAH. We have more stocks of all the products than we need. Despite even the fact that the harvest 2010 is less than the last year one. That will enough not just for us, but to help Georgia, Armenia and other countries which have turned to us for help", emphasized Mykola Azarov.

The Prime Minister instructed the KCSA to enhance work on organization and conducting fairs in all districts of the capital to expand the range and volume of goods.

According to the instructions of the Government, 70 seasonal agricultural fairs will be held in all districts of Kyiv over three weeks.
