OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2010. In August, 2010 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 61 th. passengers, that is by 10% more compare with the similar period of 2009, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on direction Chisinau-Bucharest (+225%), Chisinau-Milano (+56%), Chisinau-Istanbul (+19%), Chisinau-london (+14%) and Chisinau-Paris (+13%).

Over 1000 persons used the flights Air Moldova in August from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Kiev and Bucharest to Europe by stopping over in the Chisinau International Airport that becomes a transit airport. In January-August 2010 there were transported 6000 of this type of passengers.
