Estonian Air Starts Code Sharing with KLM on Tallinn-Amsterdam Route
OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2010. The demand for air travel from Tallinn and Vilnius to Amsterdam has been high. This proves that the tight cooperation between Estonian Air and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines - under a code share at Lithuanian market and interlining cooperation at Estonian market - has been very successful, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.
This gives a good basis for further cooperation between the two airlines and Estonian Air will start code sharing with KLM also on the Tallinn-Amsterdam route.
Starting from 31 October 2010, Estonian Air will reopen direct flights between Tallinn and Amsterdam. So far the fights on Tallinn-Amsterdam route were operated with one stop in Vilnius.
Flights to Amsterdam are operated six times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is one of the biggest and busiest hubs in Europe, though convenient and user-friendly airport, serving more than 100 airlines and offering a wide choice of flights into the entire world.
