OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2010. The subsidiary office of the Ingosstrakh Yekaterinburg branch in Kamenets-Uralsky paid 5.5 mln rubles in connection with the loss of winter wheat crops to Start LLC located in the Kamensk district of Sverdlovsk region. The insurance was provided for 1000 ha of winter wheat for the total insurance amount of 10 mln rubles.

The insured event was frost (during the period from December 5, 2009 to December 7, 2009 the temperature decrease to -27C was recorded), which led to the loss of winter wheat crops. Ingosstrakh settled the claim and paid Start LLC the full insurance indemnity.

The subsidiary office of the Ingosstrakh Yekaterinburg branch in Kamensk-Uralsky has been cooperating with Start LLC since 2008. During this period, crops, movable equipment, real property, cropland, transport and grain inventories were insured.
