OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2010. According to August results passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 1 018 601 people, which is 22.4% more than it was in August 2009, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to foreign countries in August 2010 had a total enrolment of 487 385 people, which is 22.4% more than the number of passengers carried in August 2009.
Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 442 921 people, which is 22.5% more than in August 2009.
Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS increased by 22% and had a total enrolment of 88 295 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 14,7% in August 2010 and had a total enrolment of 10 515 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross takeoff weight (GTOW) is 359 694 tons, the increase is 11.7% as compared with the same period in 2009.

The first 8 months results of 2010

According to the first 8 months of 2010 results passenger traffic of Pulkovo airport had a total enrolment of 5 684 963 people, which is 28.1% more than the activities of the first 8 months of 2009, including:
International airlines passenger traffic to the foreign countries for the first 8 months in 2010 had a total enrolment of 2 540 109 people, which is 27% more than the number of passengers, carried during the first 8 months in 2009.
Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 2 689 707 people, which is 29,5% more than during the first 8 months in 2009.
Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS increased by 25,5% and had a total enrolment of 455 147 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 14.9% during the first 8 months in 2010 and had a total enrolment of 66 559 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross takeoff weight (GTOW) is 2 232 587 tons, the increase is 9.7% as compared with the same period in 2009.
