The practice of photo and video recording of traffic offences revealed that the implementation of automated speed control systems on roads may bring the number of traffic accidents down by up to 86%. Once in place in St. Petersburg, this system is expected to lower the number of road traffic fatalities considerably with time — even bring it close to European rates, while simultaneously increasing the relevant extra revenue to the budget by 2 or 3 times.

ARMADA’s plans are to continue launching the off-the-shelf solution in other Russian regions.
